A red cardinal is such a beautiful contrast to a dull, gray winter!  To many people they carry a significant meaning about a deceased loved one.  Whether you love this lovely bird for either reason, this centerpiece will be a wonderful way to brighten up the inside of your home on a cloudy, snowy winter day!  The cardinal has been sewn from muslin and hand painted.  He has black bead eyes.  He is secured in a vintage wood cheese box on a bed of faux greenery, red and white faux berries, and pine cones.  Intertwined among the pine branches are battery operated red fairy lights.  The cheese box itself is in very good condition despite that the lettering is upside down ! (The bottom was removed instead of the top when the contents were retrieved!)  The side of the box says, “Windsor Club, Pasteurized Cheese Food.”  The entire display measures approximately 8″ high by 14″ from branch tip to branch tip.  Our amazing bird of winter!
